Erik just called me and the results from his last (and I do mean last!) exam are in... drum roll... and he passed! Woo hoo! Hoot and holler! Praise God! That means that after 6 1/2 years of exams, balancing work/family/play, and countless hours of studying (well, not countless- it totaled around 4,000 hours of studying outside of work) Erik is all done with the actuarial exams. That would be ten, ten folks, under his belt. Or should I say after his name. That officially makes him:
Erik Karl Johansson; FSA, EA, MAAA
Now nobody tell him if the Society of Actuaries adds any more exams to the line-up. I don't want him to know!

Hey, Erik---congratulations and I know that you are so proud and relieved to have it all behind you. I remember looking at your books and thinking that they were written in a foriegn language. You deserve a big celebration. Love Gram
Congratulations, Erik! What a wonderful birthday gift for your dear wife (who looks beautiful and is made for pregnancy, I might add!)
Well, I think I figured this out all by myself. What I wanted you to know Cathryn, that it will not hurt your babies to share the same room--even if they are the opposite sex. I must tell you that Pop shared a BED with more that one of his sibs !!!! Love Gram
