Also, we had our hospital tour after our appointment (what a trouper Grace was, and Erik for that matter since it was a work day!). It was good to actually find out where the hospital was located :) and what floor the Maternity Ward was on. We got to ask a lot of questions since it was a personal tour (there was a bright spot to that snow storm drama). Erik's reaction: "Wow, don't you feel so much better after seeing everything?". My reaction: (insert panicked eyes and furrowed brow) "Wow, I changed my mind. Can I 'poof' this baby out?". It made the pending birth all very real to see the hospital room, the triage, find out answers to all the things we were wondering about. Oh, I bet you want Grace's reaction to the hospital tour. "A step for me!" After seeing the step into the jacuzzi tub. Never mind any of the other odd or curious things she saw in a hospital room, that's what stands out to my 2 year old!

You're so cute!!
Oooooh. I know that "sinking in" feeling when reality hits. I'll bet you're missing that blissful state of Denial, huh?
You're in my prayers, dear friend! Sounds like the time draws near!
Hey There. You look great! I absolutely love your website and seeing pictures of you and Grace. Can't wait to see your new bundle of joy. I remember waiting to prepare for the new baby until the third trimester and then I went in for a doctor's visit and he said, "It's time to have this baby." and I said, "Oh no it's not." He was right, baby the next day. I swear I will never procrastinate again. Love you much and prayers are being sent your way. Love, Suzy Kaib
I love the blog.
I remember the 'reality moment' when I was pregnant with Sadie. It was when I had to watch the mandatory epidural video. Watching women in a lot of pain didn't boost my confidence to go through it all again.
